In our latest Mackey Speaks Leadership Journal Episode, we are sharing a clip from the Texas's High School Coaching Association's Leadership Summit.
Mackey (@mackeyspeaks) is digging in deep as he talks about different ways to be in guard on the field, in the locker room, and in life. He talks about the difference between having a position of influence and positioning ourselves for a position of influence.
There is nothing wrong with having a position of influence, but it's the point at which you position yourself for that position, you start to climb over other people to get to where you want, that you lose sight of your purpose.
So many of us at times in our lives believe we are exempt from stupid, and the day you begin to believe that is the day you become stupid.
